Machine Gun Kelly and Lorde are set to perform at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards.
The “Bloody Valentine” rocker will play his new single “Papercuts,” while the “Royals” artist will be delivering an “explosive world premiere” off her new album Solar Power.
Both MGK and Lorde are nominated for VMAs this year — his collaboration with blackbear “My Ex’s Best Friend” will compete in the Best Alternative category, while her song “Solar Power” is up for Best Cinematography.
Other VMA performers announced so far include Olivia Rodrigo, Camila Cabello and Lil Nas X. The show airs September 12.
Kelly recently announced a new album titled Born with Horns, executive produced by his Tickets to My Downfall collaborator Travis Barker. “Papercuts,” the record’s lead single, dropped last week.
Lorde, meanwhile, will drop Solar Power, her much-anticipated third studio effort, this Friday.
