Times of Grace, the Killswitch Engage side project featuring guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and vocalist Jesse Leach, has released a new song.
The track is titled “Medusa,” and will appear on the band’s upcoming album, Songs of Loss and Separation, the long-awaited sophomore follow-up to the 2011 Times of Grace debut, The Hymn of a Broken Man.
“‘Medusa’ is about betrayal, abuse, and deceit,” Leach says. “It’s a story about the dark side of the soul and the struggle to tear away from those who feed off of your heart. When faced with these types of people and situations, there is a battle to not allow it to destroy a part of your soul and change you.”
“Medusa” is available now for digital download. It’s the second track to be released from Songs of Loss and Separation, following “The Burden of Belief.” The whole album will be released July 16.
