Foo Fighters have revealed all-star lineups for the upcoming Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts in London and Los Angeles.
The two all-star global events in celebration of Hawkins’ memory and his legacy as a global rock icon will take place on September 3 at London’s Wembley Stadium and on September 27 at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
Former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson of Rush, Queen‘s Brian May and Roger Taylor, former Police drummer Stewart Copeland and Queens of the Stone Age‘s Josh Homme will perform at Wembley Stadium.
They will be joined by Jane’s Addiction bassist Chris Chaney, the Pretenders‘ Chrissie Hynde, Supergrass, Wolfgang Van Halen, jazz drummer Omar Hakim, Mark Ronson and members of Hawkins’ hard rock cover band, Chevy Metal, for the London show.
A number of the artists are also scheduled to perform at the Los Angeles show, which will also feature Miley Cyrus, Joan Jett, Alanis Morissette, KISS‘ Gene Simmons, Mötley Crüe‘s Nikki Sixx, Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ Chad Smith and more.
The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts will benefit charities in both the U.K. and the U.S. chosen by the Hawkins family. Beneficiaries and further details will be announced shortly.
