Grey Daze postpones ‘Amends’ album release due to COVID-19

Loma Vista RecordingsChester Bennington‘s pre-Linkin Park band Grey Daze is pushing back the release of the group’s new album Amends due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The record, which features newly recorded versions of early Grey Daze songs combined with the late Bennington’s original vocal takes, was originally set to be released on April 10. It will now arrive June 26.

“When we announced that we were working on Amends our intention was always to honor Chester’s memory and to finish the work he had begun with us,” says Grey Daze drummer Sean Dowdell.

Amends means so much to his family, our families and the millions of fans worldwide who embraced Chester,” he continues. “We feel we owe it to everyone involved to ensure that Amends receives a proper release.”

While Amends won’t officially drop until June, you’ll still be able to hear it on April 10. On that day, Grey Daze will be streaming the record online through a variety of fan-hosted listening parties across the globe.
