Courtesy SharpToneWe Came As Romans has premiered the video for “From the First Note,” a tribute song to the band’s late vocalist Kyle Pavone.

The clip finds the Detroit rockers performing in a glass greenhouse filled with plants. You can watch it now streaming on YouTube.

“We wrote ‘From the First Note’ as a promise to Kyle to not only preserve the amazing moments and memories we had together, but to continue carrying on the legacy of everything we built together,” says bassist Andy Glass. “The video portrays the band playing in a dream-like state, surrounded by beautiful colors and flowers.”

We Came As Romans premiered “From the First Note,” as well as another song called “Carry the Weight,” last September. They’re the first new tracks from the band since Pavone died August 2018 at age 28.

In March, WCAR will embark on a U.S. tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut album, To Plant a Seed.
