Brigitte Engl/RedfernsPuddle of Mudd hasn’t released any music in nearly five years, but that’s apparently about to change.
In a tweet Thursday, the “She Hates Me” rockers tease that a “new release [is] coming VERY soon.”
Puddle of Mudd’s last release was the 2014 standalone single, “Piece of the Action,” which followed the 2011 covers album re:(disc)overed. The band’s most recent original album is 2009’s Volume 4: Songs in the Key of Love & Hate.
In the last few years, frontman Wes Scantlin has made headlines more for his legal troubles than his music, including arrests for vandalism and DUI.
Fortunately, things appear to be looking up for Scantlin — last July, he announced that he was 11 months sober.
