Credit: Frank Maddocks Mike Shinoda has a new collaboration in the works. The Linkin Park vocalist/multi-instrumentalist is apparently working on a track with superstar DJ Steve Aoki and Taka Moriuchi of the Japanese rock band One OK Rock.

Taka revealed the news in an interview with Rock Sound. “I think it’s pretty secret but it’s Steve Aoki, me and Mike Shinoda on a collaboration,” he said.

As for when we’ll get to hear the song, Taka said he doesn’t know when it’ll be released, adding that he still needs to record his part for the track.

While you wait for the collaboration to arrive, you can get a taste of what Taka and Shinoda sound like together one One OK Rock’s 2017 album Ambitions, which features production by Shinoda.

And if you just want to hear Shinoda collaborating with other artists, his 2018 solo album Post Traumatic features a ton of guest spots from the likes of K.Flay, grandson and Deftones frontman Chino Moreno.
