ABC/Randy HolmesProphets of Rage have dropped another new song from their forthcoming self-titled debut album. The latest installment of political rap-rock fury is called “Radical Eyes,” and you can download it now via digital outlets.
“Radical Eyes” is a play on the term “radicalized,” and finds Chuck D and B-Real trading verses over a funky riff from the Rage Against the Machine boys. It’s the third track to be released from the Prophets of Rage album, following the singles “Living on the 110” and “Unf*** the World.”
“The Western world has created biased structures and stereotypes,” says Chuck D in a statement. “Opposing viewpoints and movements are seen as radical rather than diversity. ‘Radical Eyes’ is the lens everything is viewed through, any life movement in opposition is considered radicalized.”
Prophets of Rage will be released September 15.
